The media used in Birdy is pencil & colored pencil
Her story:
Birdy loves to stare up at the birds. Sometimes she will go high up on a cloud to watch them fly by.
Birdy was also inspired from the G3 ponies. I again had a Hasbro drawing in front of me due to this picture being in a different pose. I didn't trace but I did definantly let it help me with putting her in proper perportions. The hair for these ponies is different then the G1 ponies so I had to use the Hasbro drawing to help me with that as well.
I added the background in Birdy using Paint Shop Pro.
I wanted to create a Unicorn. I have a feeling there will be some G3 Unicorns but I still wanted to custom make one myself. I do like the way her color scheme turned out. She isn't my favorite but I do like her. She wasn't a disapointment at all.
One day I will have to make my gallery images into a real custom pony. Customs are tedious and time consuming so this may not ever happen. But you never know :)
