Her story:
On her walk threw the field, Lilac Blossom stops to greet her friend Sunshine.
Sunshine is a Newborn Pony!
This piece took me an hour and a half to complete and was finished on November 29th, 2003.
I wanted to create another piece with more then one subject. I had a friend of mine over at my mother's house when I took my sketchbook out and decided to draw two long time friends.
I decided to have my friend name Lilac Blossom since Sunshine is the most appropriate name for the newborn pony.
I like the colors used in this piece and love the way it all turned out.
This piece was colored with PrismaColor pencils and I added the sky in Paint Shop Pro.
