The media used in Smiley was pencil & chalk pastel
Her story:
Smiley is all about going for nature walks at least once a week.
Smiley was completed on January 2nd, 2004. She took me about three hours to complete.
I put Smiley in a totally different scene then I do with any of my other pieces. I got tired of doing the same old background and needed a change so here it is!
I do like the way this piece turned out but there are a few things I would change if I had to redo it. Some of the things in this piece aren't exactly right but that's ok.
This piece is fully sealed so not to smear or break down over time.
Smiley was drawn up with pencil, colored with Conte Chalk Pastels, and blended using a blending tool. Then this piece was sealed using PrimaColor Final Fixative Gloss, the best sealer I have ever used!
