"Taffy" The media used in Taffy is pencil & colored pencil Her story: Hasbro's character: Taffy! This was  my first attempt MLP! I chose Taffy because I didn't want to add to much color to the pencil drawing and ruin the effect I had going. You can see threw pink and the rest of Taffy with the exception of her orange bow is white ^_^ Taffy took me 2 hours from start to complete finish. I am usually  a quick artist but beings that this was my first My Little Pony. I used a tutorial from Land of Bliss and it took a little time to figure out the correct proportions for a MLP which alot different then a horse's proportions. Land of Bliss no longer exists but there are many more tutorials around the MLP Online Community. This was the first picture I ever drew for a scanner too so that was a little different then I was use to, I like lighter lines in a drawing and quickly realized after the first attempt that my scanner wouldn't pick those light lines up so I had to go over Taffy twice with darker lines. Taffy was colored using PrismaColored pencils and the background color was added using Paint Shop Pro. She was drawn March 15th, 2002 Back to Template Gallery
