"Vali" The media used for Vali was pencil, watercolors, and colored pencil Her story: Vali sees an old friend that she wants to say hi to off in the distance! Vali was first drawn up with pencil. Then she was colored with PrismaColor Watercolor pencils then detail was added using PrismaColor pencils. I haven't had much experiance with watercolor pencils but I have plenty with regular watercolors. I just got the watercolor pencils for my birthday so I wanted to start using them for ponies. Using the pencils was alot different so this piece took me some time to do. I love the result of this piece, what I couldn't seem to do with the watercolors I was able to do with the regular colored pencils. With some practice I think I will be able to do some great pieces using this technique. Vali was completed on December 8th, 2003 and was created in 4 hours. I hope you enjoy Vali.
