Gabriel Park

Fairly large, nice and green fenced area. Very crowded on weekends and weekday evenings. Not all visitors are responsible, and some large dogs can overwhelm and pester the few smaller dogs that visit. Lots of benches and chairs for hoomans, with a newsstand that supplies the Dog Nose News! Poo bags provided, along with tennis balls and water (although I suggest you bring your own water, kennel cough thrives in such an area.)
Chimney Park

Very large, nice and very green park. Only partically fenced, so a good recall is necessary. Very low traffic and a great place to take the city dog that needs to run. A couple of benches for hoomans, but I suggest you take a blanket to sit on. No poo bags, no water fountains, to be sure to load up on such things before you head out. It's pretty far out in North Portland, but worth it in my opinion!
Whether playing with other dogs at a high traffic dog park, or simply running free at a low traffic dog park, the dog park is a great place to take your dog. From socializing with other dogs to running out some of that energy, the dog park is a healthy, fun place to take your dog. Here in Portland, a very dog friendly city, there are plenty of offical dog parks to visit. Here are a couple links dealing with dog parks in Portland. Hopefully, you can find one near you. We hope to see you there!
East & West Delta Park

Large park without secure fencing (excellent recall necessary!) It's basically just a large field and doesn't seem too get much traffic. Probably well suited for fetch and other running activities. Bring your water bowl, toys, poo bags and anything the hoomans need to sit on, as nothing is provided here.

Potso Park
(behind Coe Manufacting in Tigard)

Nice large securely fenced area in Tigard. This park is leased from Coe Manufacturing, and is open only during the company's closed hours (4:00 pm to dusk during the week-all day on weekends.) Nice seperate fenced area for small dogs. Stocked with toys, water and poo bags. There's even tables, benches and shade for hoomans! Low traffic and a great park.
Clean your dog's messes and keep the park clean for everyone!
Enjoy your snacks outside the fenced areas
When not in a fenced, off-leash area, PLEASE keep your pet leashed. It's for your pet's safety!
