A little about                       Me

It's been about a year since my husband, my Pixie and i moved north from our coastal town in California, to the sometimes cold and frequently rainy city of Portland. Luckily, Pixie hadn't lived in California very long, so she doesn't miss the sun as much as we tend to. Portland is much friendlier to dogs and doglovers than most California cities are, which has been the inspiration for this website.

Here's my husband with our sweet Pixie. Somedays i think that he loves Pixie more than i do! But considering i'm the one that dishes out the discipline, Pixie sometimes thinks she loves her dad more than she loves me. Until of course, it's time to eat. Pixie is my first dog. Sure, while growing up my family had dogs, but they weren't really mine.  After living on my own for three years, i decided it had been three years too long without a dog around.

After coaxing my husband, Pixie came to live with us. It has been a wonderful life with her in it and i can no longer imagine a life without a dog. This summer Pixie and i should be at agility trials! Wish us luck, we are gonna need it!

i must mention our new addition. Her name is Addie and she's a Staffordshire bull terrier. She's an older dog and just loves being part of the fmaily. It didn't take long for her to understand that we were her new family and she settled in quickly! Addie and i are working on obedience and passing our therapy evaluation. Keep and eye out for us!
