The purpose of this organization is to provide mature gay and bisexual men, and their admirers, with opportunities to come together in a supportive atmosphere to enjoy social, educational, and recreational activities.
The monthly newsletter The Portland Metro Gayzette is sent to our current chapter members to inform them of the many activities that are held throughout the month. Anniversaries and birthdays are noted along with special events and the monthly meeting/pot-luck.
Most of the meetings are held at Tabor Center in South-East Portland. Occasionally meetings and other special events are held at private homes located in the Portland Metro area (primarily Portland / Vancouver). The Portland Metro Prime Timers has members as far south as Eugene, OR and as far north as Long Beach, WA in South-West Washington.
