I was born 6/11/1959 in Willmar, Minnesota. My family moved to Pueblo, Colorado in 1965 and I have lived in Colorado ever since. My love for the mountains is deep and my spirit soars whenever I am surrounded by them.
I am a singer/songwriter and have been writing since the age of 14. I play the 12 string guitar and played the clarinet through high school and college. I attended the University of Southern Colorado in Pueblo as a Music Ed. major on a presidential achievement scholarship, however, I only went to college for two years before quitting to pursue a career in singing and songwriting.
I have three cd's published to date and am working on my next one.
My other passion is poetry and writing inspirational books. I have three books published which were written to assist others along on their spiritual journeys. My poetry book was the first one published and I have been writing poetry since as long as I can remember. In fact, since I was able to hold a pen in hand.
One of the things I love doing in my spare time is photography. I love anything and everything created by God and my passion is to capture all that I can using my digital camera. Literally, I could spend hours and hours doing this and never tire of it.
The Lord has moved me along swiftly on this blessed journey called life and I was ordained a minister throuh Rose Ministries in 2005. For a couple of years, I held an online church service for those who prefer to worship in the comfort of their own homes. Because of changes in my life as of late, I have not been able to continue with this course, but perhaps may start a service up again one day.
I have held numerous jobs, all of which have led me into the lives of others whom I can care for. For this, I know I have been extremely blessed.
My crowning glory and what I am most proud of are my two boys, Adam and Lance. They are all grown up and have children of their own. My grandchildren's names are Jasmine Jade, Damien Blade and Madison Faith. They are beautiful children!! Of course, I am their grandma and little bias.
