| Three ambulances arrived shortly after the girl called. Police cars pulled up behind it. The 5 men were pulled out of the van. The girl gasped when she saw who they were. She was a big fan of the Backstreet Boys & she was very upset at the fact that they were hurt. One of the policemen asked her to step into one of the police cars to be taken in for questioning. She agreed & was taken to the station. She sat & waited to be questioned or for news on the boys.Soon an officer came in the room. “Miss Lawrence I presume,” he said “Yes,” she said. “I am Officer Carl Pain. I need to here your side of the story.” “Before I start telling the story would you mind telling me how they are doing.” “I don’t know. We haven’t heard what is wrong with them, but we contacted their families & management so that a press statement.” “OK I was waiting for the cross-walk sign to tell me to go when I saw the tractor-trailer run the red light. It hit the van & dragged about a foot or so. Then it drove off. I wrote down what was on the license plate & called 911.” “What did the plate say,” “Problem.” With that the officer left to report the license plate said. As she sat there, Jessica Lawrence thought I’d like to get my hands on who did this. |
