| “Come on just one more time,” Kevin asked Sarah. “Can I get a five minute break, please,” she pleaded back with Kevin. “I guess so, but be quick about it.” “OK” Sarah walked out into the sunshine. It felt good to feel the warmth on her face after spending all morning working on her song. “Hey, how’s it going?” She turned to see Howie behind her. It was kind of weird seeing him in jeans & a tee shirt since she had seen him in suits & dressy kinds of stuff. She had to admit he was cute & that she had a crush on him but she wouldn’t dare say it to his face. “It’s going good. I needed a break so I asked him if I could take five.” “OK well I came to see how the song was coming. I’ll see you in a few,” he said as he walked inside. Within a few minutes she was back inside singing her heart out in front of Howie & Kevin. The two of them were extremely impressed with her voice & talent. The song really brought out everything in her voice. They smiled & looked at each other as she finished the song beautifully & they knew they had a pro. Sarah went home later on that say. Around 5:00 she received a suprising phone call. |
