| (Nicks View) I turned my head back toward the door. I wanted to be the first to find out what she wanted so I can get out of here. I don’t like her one bit. I decided to look around the room. Kevin, Brian, & A.J. were praying, Howie was crying, & I am just sitting here. Being the youngest of the group, I’ve always looked up to everyone else. Seeing them break down & show their feelings made me feel a little insecure. “Howie are you OK,” I asked. He shook his head up & down. I knew he was trying to hide the fact that he wasn’t OK. “You know D,” I said, “You need to stop acting like a big baby.” “Shut up Nick,” He said “Nick, he’s just scared,” Kevin said, “Maybe you should leave him alone.” “Why should I. He’s starting to scare me,” I said. “Nick, how would you like it if you were the one crying & someone told you that you were a big baby.” Brian asked. “No” I replied. I then keep my big mouth shut. I watched as Kevin & Brian went back to praying & Howie stopped crying. Soon I heard a sound from outside the room. Everyone looked toward the door. The door slowly opened. I braced myself & waited to meet whoever was opening the door. |
