Chapter 1
I shot up. My mind was in total panic. I had to find the only person that could help me, Howie. We were both there when it happened. It feels like it was only yesterday. He was awake too. Sweat covered his body & his breathing was unstable. He looked over at me with eyes of fear. We have had the same dream for the past couple of years. It’s spooky, but true. I walked over to him; none of us saying a word. I remember it like it was yesterday, but it was so long ago. I heard Brian emerge from his room. He walked into the room & walked over to us.

“Another bad dream, huh.”

Howie & I still remained silent. I didn’t want to say anything, but I debated telling him the truth. Everything as it happened so many years ago. The things that stayed fresh in my mind from fear & the reoccurring dreams that I had almost every night. My daughter came into the room & climbed into my lap. I stroked her hair until she was asleep. I decided it was time for Brian to know about what happened. Maybe some of our fear would rise off our chests.

“Brian, would you like to know what happened to Howie & I a year ago.”
“Kevin,” Howie said.
“Howie, I think someone needs to know it might take some of the pain away.”
“Go ahead. Tell away.”

“Well it all started about a year ago when we were on the Black & Blue tour. Do you remember those two girls that would always be backstage?”
“Yeah.”
“They were the ones that sent us through everything. They brought our pain.”
