| Where are you heading Palestine? |
| The countrys we see on this satelite picture are Lebanon & Syria in the north, Jordan in the east, Egypt in the southwest & Israel with Palestine in the center. This little area is one of the places on earth where Terror and Anger meets and erupts in Wars and the so called Intifada. Thousands have been killed and it seems like a never-ending-story. All started when people from Israel left Germany in 2nd World War and settled in Israel, their home where Jews used to live thousand years before. Now Arabs were living there and the Jews settled right on their farms, building houses and streets. Now that Arabs had less and less farm land they argued about the news Israel policy but Israel wouldnt listen. When the Lebanon War came the north of Israel was no longer safe. Communities and familiys were cut and couldnt meet for a long time. Still today the Golan Valley isnt safe while Syria, Lebanon and Israel are fighting. Now that the Palestines want their own independence presidents Rabin, Perez and Arafat met in order to get PEACE in this area. They all got a World-Peace-Award but after a short while Rabin got shot in Jerusalem. Now that the Intifada started again for a couple of years we are used to see killed Arabs and Jews in Tel Aviv, Haifa, Jerusalem, Rafah and elsewhere. Arabs blow up themself in busses killing dozens and the Israel Army blows up houses in Gaza and other areas. This produces anger on both sides. Worst part of the story, the United States (being a peace-keeping country as they claim) support Israel with weapons and tanks. If they wouldnt Israel could no longer fight others and destroy Peace in the Middle East. Now that the Israel Goverment is building a Wall around their properties right through farm lands belonging to other Arabs (following the German Wall example 50 years ago) the produce an anger that no one would be able to stop. If we dont act now, stop building the wall stop building new houses and towns stop cooperating with the Palestinean Govermnet stop shooting other people with tanks and helicopters stop producing anger by putting a food and medicine embargo on the people and letting the people live their independent life in a independent country called Palestine we will never end this WAR of religions and other Terror Events will take place on Earth. Years will pass when we still fight Terror, the only problem is that you can just fight Terror when you face the roots. Think about it. May Peace be with you |
