Our History
Peachland Boxing Club was formed in August 2004. John Wardley, Jerry Dober, Brad Lazar and Carol Boelee got together and with hard work started a small group of kids boxing with donated equipment. We began to notice that most of the kids kept returning and we realized that we had a good thing and that the kids were serious with boxing. In 2005 we become an official boxing club.

Tribute to a Great Athlete
Brad Lazar
October 18, 1959 - May 16, 2005
Brad was a huge driving force in starting the Peachland Boxing Club. Together with John, Carol and Jerry they got local Councilors and media onboard and got this thing started. Brad lived and worked in Peachland and was well known and loved. Brad was diagnosed with cancer and passed away on May 16, 2005. He will be greatly missed by all of us. Brad, we will work hard to keep your dream alive and put Peachland on the boxing world map! We know your watching and we'll make you proud!
