Please come into my garden
and take comfort under a tree.
In this place you'll find serenity,
peace and harmony.
This is my faith garden
filled with love and hopes and dreams,
And if I could stay forever,
I'd be warmed beneath your beams.
I would not want for anything
more along the way,
than the good Lord wished for me to bear
upon my shoulders each day.
In my dreams I see us walking
together along life's path.
Holding hands and imagining
that this dream would always last.
For we have lived, loved, prayed and looked anxiously up to the sky
and wished to see God's loving face
amid the clouds that are passing by.
A vision of his image
is forever on my mind,
and I know that it is his face
because it is so kind.
Among the sky, clouds, stars and moon,
this is my one desire
that what I wish for you today
can not possibly expire.
Remember that you know not
what Christ has planned for you,
Perhaps tis' the fulfilment
of my life with you renewed.
