My husband was transfered to Buffalo, NY from February 1976 to
February 1978.  We lived in West Seneca which wasn't too far from downtown.  I loved it there.  It was something totally different from
what I was used to.

My son, Matthew, was born there in December 1976, right before the Blizzard of 1977.  I don't think I have ever seen so much snow in my
whole life.

Whenever friends or family would visit us we would take them to
visit Niagara Falls.  We enjoyed the Canadian side because of the
beautiful Botanical Gardens there.  The view of the Falls was
a lot better also.  I haven't been back there in over 20 years and
would love to go back and see it again.

I just love STRAWBERRIES ! ! ! ! !
My kitchen and dinning room are inundated with them.
I have strawberry wallpaper in both rooms.  In the kitchen,
the refrigerator is loaded with strawberry magnets and in
the dining room there are a lot of strawberry decorations
from decorator tins, wreaths, placemats, knick-knacks,
cookie jar and lots more.

When I am on vacation in Maine I like to go strawberry
picking and making jam and lots of different desserts
with them.  And they smell wonderful ! ! !

My favorite car is a Porsche.  Since the
first time I saw one in my teens I have been in love with this car.  Don't know why,  just like the way it looks, sort of like a turtle.
I have always been  mesmerized by airplanes and ever
since I was a kid I have wanted to be an
airline stewardess or flight attendant as they are called now.

I love going to the airport and just sitting and watching
the planes take off and land.

And when I do travel by plane I like to sit by the window and
am usually looking out of it for the whole trip.

I'd also love to learn how to fly a plane.  That has got to be the most fascinating part of all!  Just to be looking at the world
from that vantage point would be awesome but then I know that because I've been there and done that! ! ! ! !
In November 2000
I got the opportunity to pilot my own plane. A dear friend of mine gave me a private flying lesson as a gift for my 50th birthday. This was the most awesome thing that I have ever done!
This is a picture of me taxiing to take off.
