18 / 04 / 05 Just found out yesterday that we've got the only support for The Casbah Club at the Rock Cafe 2000 in Stourbridge in May. The Casbah Club includes members Simon Townsend (The Who), Bruce Foxton (the Jam), Bruce Watson and Mark Brzezicki (Big Country), and they're going to be playing a selection of some of the best tunes from The Who, The Jam and Big Country! You can find out more in the GIGS section! 09 / 04 /05 We've been getting a lot of airplay on INDIE Radio lately. Our song 'Kissed The Gun' was recently number 1 in their unsigned artists chart, and we were the most requested band last month. If you wanna check it out then go to www.fnr-radio.com, and you can request one of our songs by hitting the 'Request' button on the left hand side! 20 / 03 / 05 If you like The Jam then come along to The LA Rock Cafe on this Thursday (the 24th) where we're supporting one of their top tribute bands! See the gigs page for more info. 01 / 03 / 05 We're looking into getting some good live recordings done at the moment. Mark's just trying out a new compressor and some vocal mics, and we're hopefully gonna get some good recordings down soon! We've been playing acoustically quite a bit recently, which is a completely different side to the band. We've got quite a few acoustic gigs knocking around, and hopefully we'll have some acoustic recordings done soon too! 10 / 02 / 05 For all of you still using www.peacockavenue.tk, the new website address is www.peacockavenue.co.uk ! 08 / 02 / 05 We had our first gig down in London a few days ago. And wow! What a place to play! We were playing at the Pleasure Unit in Bethnal Green (no, it's not a brothel), with 4 other superb bands (Smashing Time, Getgo, Magic Dog, and The Potions). We went down really well and they want us to come back again very soon! So it's all looking good! Thanks to all those who came down to support us, we really appreciated the friendly faces. 25 / 01 / 05 Hey everyone! We've just had a great weekend down in London supporting the recordgin of the 'Mod Aid 20' single, which is being released in a couple of months time (www.modaid20.org). We met heaps of cool people down there, including Steve Craddock, P.P Arnold, Chris Farlowe and Mark Joseph, just to name a few! We even managed to shake hands with the great Ronnie Wood!
