The evening we spent at anchor in Montauk Lake rewarded us with this glorious sunset and calm waters. Montauk Lake is situated at the eastern tip of Long Island. Along with the great sunset and absence of city light pollution, the stars that evening were so plentiful and bright that it seemed they were close enough that you could touch them.
