Summer Cruise 2000
Cuttyhunk Island,
Elizabeth Islands
July 28-29, 2000
Cuttyhunk is a nice quaint island.  There is one variety store, one paved road, and the preferred choice of transportation is the golf cart.
Cuttyhunk Harbor is a pond dredged to 9', entered via a dredged channel  with about 50 rented transient moorings.
This empty road leads to an old military observation deck located on the highest hill where the military watched for submarines during WWII.
A look at the pond from the observation deck.  The entrance channel is at the far right.
Colleen and me.  Our backs to the West facing the entrance to Narragansett Bay 13 miles away.
Back down the hill to the pond and looking at Pasque Island to the East.
The biggest house on Cuttyhunk.
The center of town on Cuttyhunk.
Entertaining a gathering of friends on our boat in Cuttyhunk.  Elaine, Rosie, Mack Jeff, Jeff, Steve, Sue and Colleen.  Kirby & Paula would eventually join us.
Kirby & Paula finally made it!
Almost ready to start heading Home the next morning.
