A SPECIAL FRIEND OF MY HEART!!

You have been there for me through thick and through thin, when my world was falling apart!
So now I will call you a special friend of my heart!

You were there when I needed a shoulder to cry on, or when I needed a smile, you always seemed to have one right there waiting for me to try on!

Together we have seen our separate little birds leave the nest, and tried to except it just like the rest!

You've helped me gain courage to face the cold world, when all other try's seemed to always have failed!

You've given me strength to start down the road ahead, taught me to lighten up by the things that you've said! Driven me crazy by the way that you are, trying to figure out if maybe your going to far!

Never have you backed away from the things you thought I needed, like a smile, advice, a shout, or that old silent treatment! I've regained my backbone, a new outlook, no strife, and now I look forward to getting on with my life!

I call you a toad, it's a term of affection, because you my friend have never shown me rejection! You have given me advice I won't soon forget, planted it firmly in my mind without any regret!

I'd miss you toad if you were gone, my heart would hurt but my mind is strong! I have you to thank for that my friend, because you knew where this heart of mine has been!

You took the chance to help heal my soul, a tough job to tackle, I couldn't have done it alone! You woke me up and shook me around, encouraged me to plant my feet firmly on the ground!

I want to thank you my favorite toad, for all the care that you have shown, you have helped to make me the person I am today, healthy, strong, with a mind of my own!

You have become someone it would be hard to live without, so don't even think it, your my toad without a doubt!

So I'll always call you a special friend of my heart!
Somehow, Someway, we just clicked from the start!!
