VOICES!!!

The weakling say's "I'm beaten"
But the fighter say's "Not I"
The shirker say's "It can't be done"
The worker say's "I'll try"
The laggard say's "He's tired"
and must drop out of the race!
The plodder say's "Keep going"
at a good and steady pace!

The pessimist, when clouds appear
"Predicts a rainy day"
The optimist "Declares he
sees a gold streak in the gray"
The grumbler say's
"He's sick of life"
work, sleep, the dull routine!
The poet say's "The stars still shine"
bird's sing and grass is green!
The cynic say's "This crazy world is
rushing to it's doom!"
The dreamer cries
"I see the peaks of glory through the gloom"
The doubter asks "Where now is god?
No sign do we perceive!"
And someone at the cross is
kneeling saying "I BELIEVE!!!"
