The Man who started it All!

How this all got started, and what we do:

.................. A note from a worker, Mike Olsen ...... I becamed involved with Russell Johnson and God's Pedal Power Ministries several years ago. It is difficult to leave the comforts of a nice home to travel into a depressed neighborhood at night, to work on bikes. When the weather is cold or wet,it is even more difficult. When the weather is warm, we attract swarms of mosquitos.But, what you must realize,is that we are not just repairing bikes, we are also talking to kids and adults from the community that have found GPPM a safe place to meet. We take this "bike repair" time to learn more about the needs of the community, and we try to inspire young and older people to take a lead in their community.

We are currently working on a plan to construct a permanent building for our volunteers to work in. You know, we on Earth can only live here about 100 years, but there is an eternal reward for those of us that help others. When you think about it, the odds are very much in favor of helping our fellow man. Keep up the great job Russell,
