While researching Bondage/Discipline/Sadism/Masochism (BDSM) lifestyle and the Dominant/submissive (D/s) lifestyle in North Carolina, contact was made with serveral persons claiming to be part of an incest/pedophile subculture and claiming to be involved in the buying and selling of children for sexual and breeding purposes.
These contacts included two "pedophile daughters," five "pedophile madams," and one "Master," all recruiting new male Masters into the subculture. Contacts were made through the match-making service ALT.com and Yahoo chat rooms, including the adult room, "I want to be F***ed by Older Men," and the teen room, "Daughters Looking for Daddies." Initially, the contacts appeared to be a joke, but through repeated chat, messenger, e-mail, and eventual face-to-face contacts, it was established that the incestuous pedophile subculture and the PCSSR are real. Additional contacts include a second Master, a potential Master, a recruited adult "breeder," and several potential teen and adult breeder recruits.
A second subculture was also discovered during the research process. The "Asian-American House of the Blooming Lotus" is another nationwide and organized BDSM community. The organization and operation of the House appears to be similar to that of the incestuous/pedophile subculture except that the sex slavery appears to be consensual and limited to adult women or the children of adult women who give consent for the children to engage in sexual and breeding activities with House Masters. The House appears to avoid the sexual exploitation of children outside of the House operations and appears to limit commercial sexual activities outside of House operations.
Two primary research methods were employed: key informant interviews and search of archival records. Several hundred hours were spent in e-mail, messenger, telephone, and face-to-face conversation with individuals claiming to be members of the incest/pedophile subculture from the April 2000 "discovery" date to the present. Some of the e-mails have been saved and are available as evidence of the contacts, but the bulk of the conversations were not saved or were subsequently lost. Quotations from incest/pedophile subculture members sited in this reference come from those emails. Those quotations are printed with the selling, grammar and the short-hand of e-mail communications intact and are printed as complete blocks of continuous text, unless indicated otherwise.
Please note a particular affectation in communication, possibly acquired through home-schooling or through extensive interactions within the single community over time. Most of the quotes come from a related group of people who use the word "an" in place of "and." In spite of this similarity in writing, there are enough differences in conversation and enough legal documents establishing separate identities for each of the writers to determine that they are not a single person, but are several related persons with a similar affectation.
Six individual members of the subculture constituted the bulk of the contacts with the sub-culture, but are not the only contacts. These were Dana, a "pedophile madam," as defined later, Jerry, a "Master," Sandy, a "pedophile wife," Susan, a "pedophile wife" and possibly a second persona for Sandy, and two "pedophile daughters," Tara and Gale. Dana and Jerry were confirmed to exist as real persons through searches of public records. Tara and Gale may be real persons or may be personas assumed by their respective mothers, Dana for Tara and Sandy for Gale. Police have been unable or unwilling to establish firm real identities for either Tara or Gale from photographs of these two pedophile daughters provided by their respective mothers during May 2000. All primary contacts, with the exception of Jerry, are from the Alamance County, NC community. Jerry is from an Eastern PA/Northern Delaware community, but he claims he is also Dana's biological father, and, for a time, her second life-Master. He also maintains an Alamance County for a brief time.
