General Information
When you bring your baby/child home from the hospital, you will be instructed when to schedule a follow up visit with your doctor in the office. Occasionally the hospital staff will call and make the appointment for you during our regular business hours. If you are dismissed in the evening, it is your responsibility to schedule the appointment generally within a week of dismissal. You are also given booklet on how to care for your newborn. It would benefit both mother and father to read it, as it has some invaluable information to help you care for your newborn baby.
We encourage immunizing your child. Daycare facilities and schools require that your child be immunized before they can attend daycare and/or classes. Immunizations are essential in the prevention of disease. Immunizations are given starting with the 2 month healthcare check and continue through 15 months of age, and then again before starting school. Immunizations are offered both at our office and the Immunization Clinics.
