"Just Peechee"
Welcome to the page all about ME!  As if the website had nothing to do with me, right?
Well, the other pages are all about my acting and modeling work.
This page is just about who I am.
Peechee is my true nickname given to me at birth.  My mother claimed to have eaten peaches constantly during her pregnancy with me and when I was born I had a peachy colored skin and even what looked like peach fuzz on my cheeks - facial cheeks, not butt cheeks. :-)  So, she decided to give me the nickname of "Peechee" just spelled uniquely.  Now as for my real name at birth... well, that's between me and the telemarketers.

I am Hispanic... NOT!  Ok, well maybe partly.  I'm actually half Filipina and half Caucasian.  My mother is from the Philippines and my father from the United States.  My grandmother has half Spanish in her but I guess the Spanish blood is so strong that it bled into me... a lot.  I am constantly being mistaken as Spanish, when I'm actually Filipino.  Here's the funny thing.  Filipino's are considered Asian, but I can't even put that down as my ethnicity (at least in the acting world).  I used to put it down on my casting forms and then one day I was called in for an audition.  When I got there, the casting director (shockingly) handed me the script and said I was reading for Ms. Yee.  Yikes!  I don't look like a "Yee!"  But I took the script anyway and headed to the waiting area.  Well guess what, everyone in the holding area was what the industry considers as Asian.  They were all either Japanese, Chinese, or Koreans.  I was definitely the odd ball.  But I auditioned anyway.  The faces of the clients were priceless when I walked in to audition for them.  It was too funny.  So now, I always put myself down as Hispanic.  Why fight it?  They think I'm Hispanic, then darn it... I'll be Hispanic.

I'm 23... Yes and no.  Yes in that in my heart and in my soul, I feel like a 23 year old... vibrant and full of life.  No in that physically I'm not 23.  I'm a little bit older but would rather not say at this time.  A girl's got to keep some secrets. ;-) So you'll just have to take your guess.  And for those that actually know my real age... SSSHHHH!!!

I love chocolate... but what woman doesn't?  However, I don't like all kinds of chocolate.  My favorites are Hershey Kisses and Kit Kats.  All the others are just too much.  Although I love chocolates, I really can't have them too much as they give me migraines.  It's the caffein in the chocolate that gets to me.  So now that you know that caffein gets to me, you probably can pretty much guess that I don't drink coffee either.  Can you believe that?  There's actually a person out there that doesn't drink coffee.  Oh get this!  I don't drink alcohol or smoke either.  And I even try to stay away from sodas as much as possible, but from time to time I do give in, but not often.  Now you're probably wondering... what a goody two shoes, how boring, what does she do?  Oh trust me, I know how to have fun without needing to supplement my body with chemicals in order to have the fun.  I am just absolutely high on life and that's more than enough for me.  This girl can have fun anywhere, anytime... even at a funeral.  I know, I've been there and have done that (with no disrespect to the passed on).

I love flowers... Yes and no again.  Yeah... I love flowers. The way they look and how some of them smell.  I love to take pictures with them and of them.  But to receive a bouquet of flowers... nope, I don't like it.  I know incredible, isn't it.  I'm not big on getting flowers.  Yes, they are beautiful and it's kinda romantic and sweet, but it's such a waste of money and flowers.  Gee, after only a few days they just die.  It's like throwing money out the window.  Now, a single rose or a picked flower is cool.  Yeah it dies too, but it's not a whole bunch.  It's just 1.

I love diamonds... Not!  Ok.  By now you have to think that I'm pretty weird.  How can a girl not love diamonds?  Well, the truth is, I'm really not big on jewelry.  I like some jewelry but I prefer them simple.  I don't like big, gawdy jewelry.  I've seen some of the rings that some celebrities wear, and they are just way too big and it doesn't look very pretty.  You're probably saying, how would she know unless she's worn something like that.  Well, I have, although not to the extent of the celebrities.  I was once engaged to a guy who gave me an engagement ring that had a huge rock on it.  It was beautiful to look at, but on my finger it just looked... too big.  My hand felt lost in the ring.  Plus, I was scared someone might chop off my finger just to get to that jewelry.  So, I usually turned it under my hand to hide the rock and just walked around with the band showing.  So for me, simple is better.

I love crafts... now that's a big "heck ya!"  Being an artist, I love to create anything and everything.  I am a big Michael's and A.C. Moore fan and faithfully seek out the Michael's ad in the Sunday paper.  I have so much craft supplies, it's not even funny anymore.  I don't have much time to work on my crafts but I do love to collect the supplies.  So I guess you could call me a Craft Supply Addict.  When I do have time to do my crafts, however, I love to do scrapbooking the most.   I also love anything that has to do with papercrafting or crafting using pictures.  After that, I love to decorate t-shirts using photographs.  Are you seeing a pattern here?

I love pictures.... another "heck ya!"  It must be the Asian in me, although remember... in the entertainment field... I'm Hispanic.  Anyway, I love to take pictures.  But not just any pictures.  I love to have people in them.  Sometimes I will take some with just views, but normally I love to have people that I know in the pictures.  It makes it more meaningful to me.  I love the digital times now, although I seem to still have problems deleting pictures that most people would say is no good.  I just love that fact that you can steal a moment in time and keep it forever.

I love romantic and dramatic movies
... NOT!  I hate movies that make me cry.  I don't like crying as it gives me a bad headache and those drama movies just gets to me.  I recently saw Mystic River and I hated it.  Ok, yeah.  The script was good and the acting was real good, but the story was just too close to real life.  I know it's things that could happen and is probably happening but when I watch a movie I want to be taken to another time.  It's like a dream, a fantasy, another world.  I want to feel good after watching a movie, not depressed.. which is what Mystic River did to me.  I just felt so bad for the way things ended for everyone that I felt empty inside.  I guess I'm just too emotional of a person.  OH!  And then there's those romantic films... yuck!  I love them and I hate them.  I do love watching them because it makes me feel all giddy inside, but when the film is all over, I feel cheated because I know in my right mind that there is NO man that would behave the way those men do in those romantic flicks.  I know it's just a movie, but darn if it didn't do it's job and take me away to a nice fantasy.  But does it hurt when you are taken out of that fantasy and realize you'll never even get close to that.  Ouch!  So that's why I stick to comedy, horror, and sci-fi.  It does it's job and takes me away BUT I still know that it's too crazy or too weird that it's not real and couldn't be real... or at least I hope it'll never be real.  But hey!  If I ever get casted to do a big flick that's drama or romantic, you bet you're butt I'm in!  Hey!  I can act in it, I just don't have to watch it.  I'll do it for those that love romance or drama.  I'd still like to be able to take them temporarily away from their reality and entertain them.
