| The Mini TES instrument is an instrument that can see infrared radiation that is emitted by objects. It can determine the mineral composition of rocks, soils, and other surface features found on the Martian Surface. Our version of the Mini TES uses a light sensor to detect differing levels of light sources over time which have been programmed to look like various minerals. |
