I have had model horses ever since I can remember. My first horse, my first LOVE, was one my cousin, Joan, won at a county fair. He is the Breyer Western Horse and I still have him. Amazing, since Joan won him in 1950! I got him when I was five and he was my constant companion. He has some dings but he looks pretty good for an old man!
I 'raced' horses when I was young! They had names, racing careers, fabulously wealthy owners, and their own jockeys. They also went to school and they really knew how to read! All that time they got new 'looks'. I was 'customizing' even back then.
In high school I took Art and now I combine the best of both worlds, horses and Art. Ain't things grand?
