I have three wonderful daughters. Kirsten is 11, Kaitlyn is 7 and Kelly is 6. We also have a terrific cat, Sherlock. I am lucky to have such great kids!

I graduated from Carthage College in 1982 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and a minor in History. I went back to school and completed my Bachelor's Degree in Accounting in 1994.

I love to read! I'll read everything except romance unless, of course, it's an Arthurian legend! I like to read historical fiction, history, horror and popular novels. My favorite authors are Diana Gabaldon (the Outlander series), Edward Rutherford (Sarum and London), John Grisham, James Michener, Marion Zimmer-Bradley (The Mists of Avalon), Anne Rice (the Vampire Chronicles) and Colleen McCullough (The Grass Crown, First Man In Rome, Fortunes Favorites, etc.)

I would have to say my favorite hobby is soapmaking. You'll have to check out my business website, Elven Faire Soapwerkes, if you get a chance. I started out making CP (Cold Process) soap. I now dabble in MP (Melt & Pour) and also make other bath products.

I love to cross stitch and have pictures of some of my projects on my Cross Stitch page. I like collecting depression glassware and stuff from the 50's. And of course, we won't mention my addiction to the computer!
