Pele 5 1/2 months.
In May Pele took part in the filming of a television commercial. She was only 4 months old, but she behaved beautifully. I was so proud of her. We even got paid!! Pele started Puppy Class at Dog Obedience in May when she'd completed her vaccinations. At the end of July and not quite 6 months she graduated from Class One. I knew that she could do it! It's graduation again this weekend and she should pass Class 2 with flying colours. Pele started her show career at the end of June. She's now out of "Baby Puppy" Class. Each week we both improve. Who knows one day she may have "Champion" before her name. We'll see.

Pele and I graduated Class 2 at the end of August 2005. Pele was almost 7 months. |
Pele and I are training at 2 obedience clubs, because we miss lots of Sunday training due to dog shows. This week we graduated class 3 at both clubs. Pele is not quite 9 months of age and is doing so well at obedience. I'm so proud of her.

Last Wednesday, 23 November 2005 Pele broke the 4 bones in her front left paw. She was playing off-lead with a Staffy, when he ran off. She followed and ended up in creek bed/drain. It was a trip to the emergency vet. She'll be out of action for 8 weeks. Pele is learning very quickly that when she whines we jump to her attention!
