EDITORS:
If you have any events you would like to add to the list, send me your name, email, and organization you are affiliated with and I will send you a User ID and Password so you can do so.
- Eastwood School news is highlighted in RED
- Church news is highlighted in BLUE
- Community News is highlighted in GREEN.
Editors may choose one of these options when setting up your events.
Events can be set up by clicking on Daily, Duration or Periodic at the bottom of the page (must have ID/Password to do this).
- Daily - when you want to enter just one day at a time. NOTE: When choosing the Daily event, go to the month, then click on the numbered date of where you want your daily event listed.
- Duration - when you want to add an event that goes on for more than one day. Ex.= Pemberville Fair is from August 15-18 (every day will have the words listed on it, that you key in).
- Periodic - is when an event happens every second Tuesday of the month.
Instructions for Editors:
- After clicking Daily, Duration or Periodic a new screen will pop up, click create.
- Once inside one of the above categories, the first box is Calendar Text. Be short and specific when adding event and location.
- Add times to the right of this box, if needed. You can add one or both times (begin/end).
- Checkbox is for drawing a border around the event, if you want one check it off.
- Category - is where you choose, School, Church or Community. These are already pre-set.
- Color - you may choose a background color to highlight your event, or a new text color is you wish. Please do not choose red, light blue, or light green for background colors, these are taken for the School, Church and Community events. You will be done here for a Daily event. Press the submit button.
- Duration events: enter the starting and ending date of the event. Press the submit button.
- Periodic events: enter the starting and ending date of the event (if this is yearly choose the whole year, if you only meet from May-August, choose that). In the How to Repeat boxes choose your selections (on either side). Note: Every second week, is every other week from the date you choose. Every 2nd occur of the month would be every second Tuesday (if you choose Tuesday). Press the submit button.
It's not that hard! Just check the first few entries you create to make sure they are how you want them. Especially when creating the duration and periodic events.
The EPA calls recycling "collecting, reprocessing, marketing, & using materials once considered trash."
