I am also a member of Central Districts Fishing Club, though in truth it's more of a friendly social club where the members have an interest in common. We get away for short trips 3 or 4 times a year and go out locally once each month if possible. We meet at the Central Districts Football Club every other Tuesday.
The old township of Inneston is where we stayed September 2001 in the Engineers Lodge built to house the original engineer and his family.
Forgive me if I look pleased with myself but it was my first Salmon even if not that big , it is easy to understand how people get hooked on fishing for these things [no pun intended ]
As you can see from these two shots it is a beautiful rugged coastline but with some great beaches as well, happily we're going back this year.In the pic on the left is Ian & Garry they're about 50 feet above the water.

Of course we don't just go fishing, we go crabbing as well sometimes as in this pic.taken at Lower Light.We didn't catch many crabs but it was fun and the million or so flies enjoyed the B.B.Q. as much as we did!!
This animated plaque was made by my wife as a gift for my grandson and I. Mary followed a tutorial by Fluttrby Designs but changed the original plaque to the map of Australia...she also made the bear blink too...which wasn't in the tute.
