| Here is just a little tribute to The Wizard of Oz. This movie has been a favorite since I was a little girl. Every time it was almost tie for the Wicked Witch to appear on the screen, my dad would let me know well in advance so I could grab the maroon pillow on the couch and cover my eyes with it. Of course I peeked around the corner of the pillow just to take a little look at that green ugly ole witch with the big nose and the huge black mole on her face, the chilling words of "I'll get you my pretty and your little dog too" gave me shivers done my spine! To this very day, I still sing along to Over the Rainbow no matter who is singing it. Celine Dion performs a wonderful version of it. |
