Penned From the Heart  

Have you ever sat down and pondered the mysteries of life..of love..of the unknown? I don’t mean just a passing thought, I mean REALLY thought about it. Have you ever tried to express yourself with words, only to find that you couldn’t find any? Or, couldn’t find the right ones and everything came out all wrong?
That’s why I write. It helps me to express feelings I have deep down inside that, for whatever reason, I suppress, and, in most cases, don’t even know are there.
When I sit down to write, whatever is on my mind at that moment, reflects in my writing. Sometimes it’s good, sometimes it’s not. That’s life. It’s not always rosey. Sure, fanfic is exactly what it says, Fan Fiction, however, I incorporate a lot of personal feeling and emotion into my writing. A lot of people don’t understand that. They don’t understand why the characters aren’t always blissfully happy, why life isn’t always brimming with sunshine for them. I don’t know about you all, but in my 26 years on this earth, my life hasn’t always been a bowl of cherries. Hell, I’d settle for a bowl of Cheerios.
I’m a different kind of writer, I try to make my stories as real as possible. The characters are their own people, with their own personalities, likes and dislikes and they do and say what they want, as if I had no say in the matter at all. Sometimes they need to be reminded who’s boss and I have to put them in their places, but, in the end, they are still their own.
In no way am I putting down other writers. We all have our own style. Personally, I can’t write about something I don’t feel a deep connection to. Other writers can bring life to just about anything. Those are the people I admire for being able to accomplish such a difficult task.
I have learned that the Backstreet Boys are great inspiration for many things, especially writing. They are five of the most amazing individuals, both together and individually. AJ is my personal favorite. Not because of his obvious sex appeal (although that sure helps!), but because, to me, he is truly an intriguing and special person.
I hope I can bring as much joy to the people reading my stories as writing them has brought to me. I’ll leave you with one of my favorite quotes:
