But the biggest draw to Blobfest is the recreation of the classic scene from The Blob where the people are running out of the Colonial Theater in fear of the Blob. People sit inside the newly refurbished theater while the Mad Scientist (AKA... the Master of Ceremonies) reads off a list of rules and regulations. Then his the monsters break loose and he directs us all to run (or traipse or frolic) like hell. Oh, pandemonium ensues as everybody runs in fear of the pseudo-monster. It's a ghastly good time... |
