KUTZTOWN PA GERMAN FOLK FESTIVAL 2004
Nothing embodies the true cheesiness of Pennsylvania like a good old fashioned fair.  But not just any fair.  A Pennsylvania German Folk Festival.  From wannabe Amish craftsmen to giant plastc groundhogs, nothing makes me prouder to be  quasi Pennsylvania Dutch.  So check out the festival and decide for yourself...

Usually, the first thing people think of when they hear Pennsylvania Dutch is fine ethnic cuisine.  Pork and sauerkraut... sausage and bratwurst... rootbeer amd birch beer.    And the Kutztown Pennsylvania German Folk Festival feautres all of these culinary delights and much more.  Nothing is more exciting than watching the slow ox roast turning and cooking over an open pit.  Those Pennsylvania Dutch sure know how to have fun with their food!!  You can eat all sorts of burgers and fries (doused in vinegar).  There is waffle ice cream and funnel cakes for desert.  And you can wash it all down with a nice tall glass of Yuengling Lager which can only be purchased inside the beer tent... a staple of Pennsylvania fairs.  Damn the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board and their puritanical open bevarage laws.
