Penny's life was ended by Henry in a murder-suicide. The tragic irony of this loss is that Penny's Dream could have saved both of their lives had it been incorporated as a reality. Her dream was to have a program implemented with the Deaf being able to receive counseling dealing with drug and/or alcohol treatment.
