The Promise Part Four |
As the plane slowed, Rebecca could hardly contain herself. She really wanted out of the plane. As soon as they entered the airport Troy looked around for his wife. He then heard familier voices as three children came running toward him. "Daddy, Daddy, Daddy," they all cried out in unison Troy let go of Rebecca's hand, knelt to the floor with open arms to greet his children. "Daddy we missed you and we're so happy that your home." stated the oldest child. His wife then approached. Rebecca stepped back and watched as they gave each other a hug and kiss. Rebecca all of a sudden didn't feel very important. Not to mention the fact that she felt betrayed. Troy had never mentioned their would be other children. This wasn't going to be very good thought Rebecca as she continued to watch them. "Rebecca," he said, as he looked down at her. This is my wife Alicea and these are my children Nicole, Beverely, and Brandon. Kids, this is Rebecca. "Hi Rebecca, it's nice to meet you," stated Nicole as she smiled at her. Brandon and Beverley waved, smiled and said hi from a distance. As Nicole approached her, Rebecca took a step back and hid behind Troy, holding tightly to his shirt. "Hi," she quietly replied as she looked at the ground. Daddy," stated Nicole in a questionable voice as she pointed to Rebecca. "It's ok Nikki, she has come a long way and just needs some time," he replied as he bent down to talk to Rebecca. "Are you ok little mate?" he asked. Rebecca didn't answer, but continued to look at the floor. She tried to hold them down, but as she stood there in the airport listening to all the people pass by. She started to huccup. She tried to hold them in her tummy, but they soon consumed her and the tears came flowing from her eyes. "Ohhh baby, don't cry," replied Troy as he tried to wipe them away. It will be ok. I promise. "I wannntttt myyyy mommyyyy," cried Rebecca. Alicea knelt down beside Rebecca and reached for her. Rebecca pushed her arm away and throw her arms around Troy's neck and sobbed onto his shoulder. Troy what are we to do with her," she asked. Alicea, we take her home and we love her, no matter what. Thats what we do," he replied. With that he stood up, still holding the crying child and made his way to the car. They collected the luggage and Alicea drove home as Troy remained in the back seat with Rebecca. She was clutching his side and had her face buried in his stomach. It took them 45 minutes to reach home. By the time Troy was in need of a clean dry shirt. Rebecca had exhausted herself and was now asleep. Troy carried her into the house and placed her on their bed. Troy closed the blinds to keep the room dark and covered her with a light blanket. He then took a seat on the sofa and was soon covered in the three children that had missed him dearly. They asked him all kinds of questions about Rebecca and he did his best to answer them. He knew it would be hard for Brandon and Beverely to understand. Being only age four and five, but Nicole was seven and understood what her daddy meant. "I will be nice to her Daddy and try to help her feel happy here," she replied as she looked up at him. "I know how sad I would be if I didn't have my Mum and Dad around." "Your such a sweet good little girl and Daddy loves you very much," he replied as he kissed the top of her head. I know you will help her. Nicole snuggled next to her daddy. She had missed him and It was nice to have him home again. Troy sat on his sofa surrounded by his little ones and read to them. It was something he did with them every night and he knew that they had missed that as well as had he. Finally he followed his children outside and watched them play as he and his wife were re-aquainted. "She is so tiny for eight," stated his wife. Nicole is taller than she. "I won't lie to you Alicea. She is going to be a hand full for a while. She takes some getting used to," replied Troy. "How do you mean," she asked in a puzzled voice. "She has a temper," he stated in a quiet voice as he watched his children play. "Troy, your saying she is violent?" his wife asked in shock. "If I'm going to take care of this child when your working I need to know if I need to worry." "No no, not like that. She gets upset easily," he replied. "You mean to tell me that this child throws tantrums?" she asked in shock. "Yes," he replied. And it's not because of loosing her parents. "Are you sure," she asked. "Ohhh I'm very sure of it," he replied. "But don't worry, I think I have it all under control now." "Now tell me what makes you think that," she Asked. Troy looked at his wife and responded with a amile. "Aren't you the one that always says that a swat on the bum never hurts?" "Oh, I guess I did say that didn't I," she replied, giving him just a little smile. When Rebecca woke, she rubbed her eyes so at to wipe away the sleepiness that she felt. She focused her eyes and looked around the room. Rebecca crawled from the bed and went to the window. As she peaked out she saw Nicole,Beverely and Brandon playing and laughing in the back yard. She could see Troy and Alicea. They looked very happy. "Everyone is happy but me," she said to herself as she crawled back onto the bed and layed down. As Rebecca laid in the dark room she began to contemplate on just how she was going to get Troy to pay attention to her. Rebecca knew he had promised to care for her but that didn't mean he loved her. After a few minutes she crawled from the bed and made her way toward the voices at the other end of the house. When Troy saw Rebecca he quickly made his way toward her and knelt down to her level. "Did you have a good sleep?" he asked. Rebecca didn't comment, she just leaned over and rested her head on his shoulders. Troy scooped her up and headed back outside to where his wife was still seated. As the other children approached, Rebecca buried her face into Troy's chest. She was clinging to him like her life depended on it. "Daddy, why won't she talk to us?" asked Nicole. "She will baby. Just give Rebecca some time to adjust. The first few days there went alot better than Troy had expected. For a few days Rebecca remained very quiet, but one morning when she woke she acted as if she had been with them forever. Running through the house chasing Brandon and Beverely. They had also placed her in the bedroom with Nicole, who seemed to enjoy having a new room mate. The girls would lay in the bedroom and giggle intil very late. Troy would even have to remind them that it was time for sleeping. As Rebecca slowly woke from her slumber, she focused her eyes on Nicole's bed. She wasn't there. Rebecca slowly crawled from her bed and made her way down the hall toward the voices of her new family. She peeked in the kitchen to find her new mum, and Nicole baking in the kitchen, but no Troy. "Well goodmorning Rebecca," stated Alicea "Morning," Rebecca replied, as she turned to search the house for Troy. Rebecca searched both the bathrooms, then the bedroom. As she made her way outside she began to feel a panic. She saw that his car was gone so she ran as fast as she could back into the kitchen. "WHERE IS TROY," she shouted, startling both her new mum and sister. "Well Rebecca, he had to go to work today, Alicea answered. "NOOOO," Rebecca yelled. "He has to be here, she said as she took off to search the house again." "Mummy, she yelled at you," stated Nicole. "Yes I know sweety," her mother replied. "But mummy, yelling isn't allowed." Alicea looked at Nicole and knew she was right. She didn't allow her children to have naughty manners and it wasn't right for Rebecca to be allowed to use them either. Alicea left the kitchen to look for Rebecca. As she rounded the corner they ran into each other. "He has to be here," Rebecca yelled as she looked at her new mum. "Well sweety he isn't, but he will be home later in the afternoon and you can see him then," she replied as she took Rebecca's hand and led her to the sofa. "I want to see him now," she demanded. "Rebecca, your being very naughty and it isn't nice for little girls to use shouting voices," Alicea scolded as she seated herself and turned Rebecca toward her. Rebecca couldn't believe this lady was telling her what to do. She could shout if she wanted to, so as she stood there looking at Alicea and let go. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, Rebecca screamed, as loud as she could. When she finished she looked right at Alicea. "Are you done now?" Alicea asked. "No," stated Rebecca with her hands still on her hips. "In this house little children do not raise their voices to the grown ups. Yelling is not allowed in this house," she continued scolding as she took Rebecca by the arm and led her to the corner. "NOOOO NOOO, I won't go," Rebecca cried as the corner got closer to her. When they arrived Alicea turned Rebecca toward her and knelt down speaking in a soft calm voice. "Rebecca, when my children misbehave this is where they go until they can sit quietly for ten minutes. You will go and sit in the corner for ten minutes and then we will talk. "I DON'T WANT TO TALK TO YOU," Rebecca yelled as she reached out and slapped Alicea across her face. The slap was a surprise to Alicea, as well as for Rebecca. Alicea Immediately reached for her slapped cheek. Rebecca took two steps back and looked down at the floor. Alicea looked at Rebecca. She could already tell by her actions that she felt bad for slapping her. It was all she could do to maintain composure as she spoke. "Rebecca, I think you better go to the corner right now young lady," She ordered as she pointed in that direction. With out looking up or saying a word, Rebecca walked over to the corner and tossed herself in the little chair. Alicea went back into the kitchen to finish her baking. She continued, but was shaken and not quite sure what to do about what had just happened. She knew that if one of her children had ever been so disrespectful as to slap her, she wouldn't hesitate to turn them over her knee for a good sound spanking. Alicea was deep in thought when she felt a little hand touch her arm. "Mummy, Are you ok?" Nicole asked in a shaky voice. Alicea just looked down at her little sympathetic child. She put down the knife and placed her arms around her. Nicole held onto her mother for what seemed like forever. "Nicole, we need to get this pie in the oven and then I want you to go out and keep your brother and sister busy for a bit while I talk to Rebecca "Yes ma'am," she replied. They finished the pie and cleaned the kitchen. Nicole walked with her mother as she took out the trash. "Mum, are you going to spank Rebecca?" she asked as they walked back toward the door. Nicole, be mummys good girl and watch your sister and brother. I will come get you in a few minutes. Nicole just shook her head and walked over to the swings where Brandon and Beverely were playing. When Alicea entered the house she looked over toward Rebecca. She was still sitting in the chair that faced the corner. She hadn't made a sound in the thirty or so minutes that she had sat there. Alicea once again went into the kitchen. This time however it wasn't to make dinner or get her children a treat. She opened a drawer and pulled from it a small wooden spoon. She looked at it and started to have second thought as to what she knew she had to do. As the slap was replayed over and over again in her mind she knew she had no choice if Rebecca was to ever respect and obey her. Alicea closed the drawer and went into the room where Rebecca was. She laid the spoon down on the sofa and walked over to her seated child. Rebecca could hear Alicea coming toward her but she remained completely still. Alicea Reached down and with out a word, took hold of Rebecca's hand. She gently pulled her from the chair. Rebecca couldn't look at Alicea. She already felt ashamed for slapping her but she didn't know how to tell her. Alicea led her toward the sofa. Rebecca followed without struggle but remained looking at the floor. Alicea seated herself on the sofa and pulled Rebecca between her knees and lifted Her chin. "Rebecca. I will not allow you to disrespect me. I love you but My children do not speak to me in the manner in which you have. You were very naughty today and you have earned a spanking. She started to cry when Alicea tugged at her arm to pull her over her knee. "Nooo nooo," Rebecca cried. Alicea quickly but gently wrapped her arm around Rebecca's waist. When Rebecca opened her eyes she only caught a quick glimps of the wooden spoon as her new mum picked it up from the sofa cushion that Rebecca's head had been placed on. "Nooo noooo, I'm sorryyyyyy," Rebecca cried as fear and regret bit at her tummy. Alicea had no remorse as she set the spoon to work. Today this spoons job wouldn't be that of mixing cookie dough or stirring juice. Today it would be starting a fire. A fire in the bottom of a very naughty and soon to be very sorry little girl. {Smack} Owweee {smack- smack} owwwweee {smack- smack} ohhhoohowweee {smack} yeeheeheeowwe {smack- smack- smack} owwe hee heheeowee {smack} {smack-smack} Alicea sat the spoon down and continued to hold Rebecca over her lap. She never tried to get up. she had covered her eyes with her hands thinking maybe that would help the spanking to not hurt so much. She mostly just wanted to make sure her hands never slapped anyone ever again. Alicea then stood her up and scooped Rebecca into her arms. After a few minutes she once again took hold of her hand. This time she led her down the hall toward her room. Rebecca's wails and cries she was certain could be heard by all of Australia, but Rebecca couldn't help it. Her bottom was most certainly on fire. Alicea placed Rebecca on her bed. "When you calm down a bit then we will talk," stated Alicea as she leaned over and kissed her on the back of the head. Rebecca waited until her new mum had left the room before throwing her hands back onto her bottom. She rubbed and rubbed but the sting was still there. Rebecca kicked off her pajama bottoms and undies. She didn't want anything touching her sore bottom. The air felt very good. She was laying on her tummy on top of her covers. With her naked bottom wiggling all around as her feet kicked her bed, she continued to wail and cry. "Troyyyy," she cried quietly, Making sure her new mum didn't hear her thrashing around on her bed in full tantrum. Soon she was to exhausted to flop around, so she just lied there and quietly sobbed. When Alicea thought she had given Rebecca enough alone time she entered the room once again. This time she was carrying in her hand a cold cloth instead of a wooden spoon. "Ohhhh myy Rebecca, what have you done with your bottoms and your undies?" she asked as she closed the door behind her. Rebecca pointed to the floor but said nothing. Alicea seated herself next to Rebecca, turned her on her back and slowly pulled her to a sitting position. "Can I wipe your face?" asked Alicea as she held out the cloth. "Rebecca shook her head yes and she folded her legs and pulled her jamie top over her knees. "We need to talk about what happened today you know." Alicea stated as she wiped her face. "I'm sorry," Rebecca cried. "I know you are baby," she replied. "Does your tummy still feel bad?. "How did you know My tummy felt bad?" Rebecca asked as she looked at Alicea. "Ohhh baby, I'm a Mum and all Mums know when their little girls have little pinches of guilt in their tummys," she replied as she reached down and picked up Rebecca's undies from the floor. "Here, put your legs in," she ordered as she held them open. Rebecca stuck her legs into the holes of her undies and let Alicea pull them up. "I miss my mommy," Rebecca cried as she looked down at the bed cover. Alicea reached over and lifted her chin. "I know you miss her. I'm all grown up and I miss my mum too. "Did your mommy die too?" Rebecca asked. "Yes Rebecca she did. I know how sad you are. I'm all grown. Your just a little girl and you still need a mum. I wish someday you will let me be your mum," Alicea replied as she pulled Rebecca to her lap and wrapped her arms around her. "You still want me even after I slapped you?" Rebecca asked. "Yes I want you always and forever," she replied as she started to rock her. "I want you to Mommy. Always and Forever," Rebecca replied as she held onto her new Mother real tight.
