I had a dream with Max Casella in it, but it wasn't exactly a newsie
dream. All I know is it had Max and Neil Patrick Harris, and Max
looked like he did when he did Doogie Howser, MD. ANyway, I had a
dream they were running down an icy street, and Neil was running
barefoot(don't ask, I don't know). ANd then they were in a kitchen,
and Max was sitting on the counter, and everytime someone mentioned
something from the movie newsies, they would burst out laughing. I
don't know. Then Max would look at them like their were looney.

Okie, in my
dream, it was
around 1899 and Racetrack was my best friend (I'm not sure why my
subconscious
chose Racetrack of all the newsies, but anyway...) I guess he lived
close by
because the first thing I remember was that we were walking to school
together. We got there early, so we decided to hang out in front of
the
school for a bit and we ran into Jack and Spot! We stood around
talking to
them until the bell rang, and then we went to our sociology class.
This was
really funny because the sociology class was the sociology class that
I took
in last year, with the same teacher and students. During the class
period,
Racetrack kept reminding me to get my Newsies soundtrack back from
the teacher
because apparently I had lent it to her and he wanted to borrow it
(remember,
this is still 1899). After class, I went and got the soundtrack and
gave it
to him, and then my STUPID alarm went off and I woke up. |

Last night I had a dream that I met Max Casella. However, he was my
best friend's brother, which means that he was 13 years old. The
setting of the dream was in my school's auditorium, and I went over
and sat next to him. My first question was "Do you remember
Newsies?" and he (I can't remember which, I think it was both) smiled
and laughed. He commented that he would have gotten more on-screen
time except Kenny Ortega was stupid. I laughed at that and then we
got up and I walked over to my friend with my arm around him
(brother/Max person). It was very...unusual. But it was cool
meeting Max, even if he was my best friend's brother. [Note: My
friend's last name is Italian and begins with a C as well.
Interesting.]

Fiddler's Max Dream |

I dreamed that I had a tape of all of
Max Casella's performances on Broadway. Lion King and
Music Man were on there, along with a few other
musicals that he never appeared in in real life. |

Moinks' Max Dream |
|
|
|
I was in New York, seeing the Music Man with my parents, I'm not sure
if my sister was there, oh well, and my grandparents on my dad's side.
We were, at the beginning, in the theater. It was all going along very
well, I guess, and then whoever the leading dude was took off his
jacket, which had lots of multicolored stones and those brass tack
thingys on it, and threw it out into the audience. It almost hit me,
but my dad, who was sitting to my right, caught it. At intermission
time, I wanted to get Max to sign something. I went out the left exit,
and then across a little bit of black (marble?) floor, and then up some
red stairs. I was following someone I'd known a few years ago. I got
in front of someone ELSE I knew, and then told them, "You can go ahead,
because you were in front of me." At any rate, I went up the stairs
too much. I remember something about people giving manicures. Then, I
asked somebody where Max was, and they pointed down the stairs and to
another level with a strange bar-like thing. I went over, and to my
surprise there he was. My mom was there too, but off to the side a
little. My initial thought was, "AAH! THAT'S REALLY HIM!" I got him
to sign something, and then rambled on about Newsies, and then (this
was really weird) I asked him, "Do you know how many Racetrack fans
there are?" and he said something about, "Maybe 1000?" ...and I said
something about a mailing list (heehee) and something else happened
which caused me to turn away and talk to my mom. I looked back, and
he'd written all over a random sheet of paper, with a kind of
filmography about himself. Very odd. Hmmm...I think that's all I can
remember. It was pretty cool though...I guess I can say I met Max,
just not in real life...hah. He struck me as being somewhat
unconcerned, which is in direct opposition to what everyone says about
him (those who met him in real life). |

Skittbitts' Max Dreams |
|
|
|
The first one was: I met max at a play and he knew my friend and the
three of us went to her house and we had a slumber party and talked all
night. It was really cool. When I woke up I was like "Awwww, man!!"
|
|
|
|
The 2nd one: I was walking by the theatre that MM was at and I decided to
go in and meet Max. So i go on there and there are like 2 fans in there
already. So I meet max and I told him about the list and that my NN was
Bitts and so he signed my book thing. Then I noticed he wasn't wearing a
cap. I told him that he was supposed to be wearing a cap. He said that he
forgot it. But it was wierd because he had a bald spot! Any way, so then we
were like parasailing over Africa and on like a safari air tour. Then these
hyenas started attacking us so we ran away and went to a party my sister was
having. It was really wierd.

I had a strange dream last night, and Racetrack was in it. I was back
at the N Sync concert, and he was opening and gave us seats in the
front, then we were playing pool with him and N Sync... lol.
