A Salute to the Armed Forces

Captain Buckley L. Ogden CEC USNR-RET

The following was posted to my Guest Book.

I felt it was important enough to have it's own page. I copied it exactly as it appeared.

Captain

As a tribute to my late Father-in-Law, I hope that you will post his obituary data. If any of his men recognize his name and served with him, I know my Mother-in-Law would be very grateful to hear from them. I would be honored to forward appropriate correspondence to her. My father-in-Law was a true patriot by every standard, and a kind and loving father and "Grandpa". The Gates of Heaven are in good repair, now.

Additional from e-mail from George Cullen, Jr.:

I think my Mother-in-Law would greatly appreciate contact with any of Captain Ogden's "mates". She has gone through a terrible year. She, too, now has cancer. My wife and the little ones have been in Arizona now for five weeks to help her out.
