- My former naval career in the
Royal Canadian Navy as permanent force (1945-1966),
- then with the reserve force
1969-1980.

- The following are the badges (crests
of ships) onboard which I served while in the
permanentnaval force, (RCN )
- The names of the following
ships'crests are of the "HMCS " ATHABASKAN
" " MICMAC "and " CAYUGA ",
- these ships were destroyers of the
tribal class.
- The names of the following ships' crests are of the"
HMCS " BUCKINGHAM " " ST-STEPHEN " of
the old type
- Fregates, and the Icebreaker " LABRADOR " .
- The name of the following ship's crests are of the
Minesweeper " HMCS Fundy", the Light Cruiser
"Uganda" and
- the light Aircraft Carrier "Magnificent".
- All the above named ships were
decommissioned , most of these ships were in service for
about 20 years.
- The following crests are those of
shore establishments where I was either a member on staff
or attended training. As for the names of Naval Bases,
the name of Shore Establisments are also preceded by the
letters HMCS. which stands for : Her
Majesty

HALIFAX, N.S.
- Note:
HMCS Cornwallis and HMCS Hochelaga were closed down, they
no longer exists .
