You have just found Supporting Our Marines! We are group of over 350 people worldwide dedicated to Supporting Our Marines through out every aspect of their military career. From boot camp, through deployments, and into VA Homes we support our Marine through snail mail, email and care packages. We are extremely proud of all we have accomplished over the last 3 1/2 years and look forward to an exciting future!
You are probably asking yourself what makes SOM different from the numerous pen pal groups that have sprouted up over the last 8 or 9 months. That is easy! Years before September 11th and Operation Enduring Freedom we were here supporting our military while they were the forgotten men and women. While the same people in this country who today call jet noise the sound of freedom were fighting over reducing our military's size and budget we were here quietly supporting our service members behind the scenes. To members of SOM patriotism and supporting our troops isn't a fad or something you do during a time of conflict or war. It is something you do EVERY DAY! That is what makes us unique!
If you are looking for a military dating service or a group that you can lurk around and remain silent in then this is definitely NOT the group for you! If you want to be a part of a group that is dedicated to supporting our Marines today and everyday through times of peace and conflict.... If you are looking for fun and friendship then you are in the right place!
