I have just read some article about Dioxin in tampons.
"In July 1999, FDA released an statement and it said
some tampons do contain trace amounts of dioxin."
And the article says that they also report the dioxin levels
are low.
I don't know how low or I actually do not care how low the dioxin
levels are, but
it is just enough to make me want to use no more tampons, ever again.
Besides, if you use just 10 tampons per period, in 10 years, even if
you had longer cycle than mine, you'd be using at least 1200 tampons.
I may have used about 4000 tampons (!) and when they say low level,
do they think about 4000 tampons ??
Who could tell us Dioxin in tampons is absolutely not one of
the causes of the pain and the disease we suffer from...?
