** A Moyers Report - Trade Secrets **
Just as I wrote my cowardly comment, here they've come with
this gutsy report.
For 2 hours, they showed how people care much more about
their money than other people's health or even lives -
the report was about plastic and other chemicals causing
all kinds of diseases (including cancers), about the people
who have been killed or suffering from them and about
the people who hid the potential risks from people.
It was aired 3-26-01, in the area I lived, but maybe they will
air it again. There is also a web site.

Though unfortunately they did not talk about Dioxin and
Endometriosis this time, in the program, Mr Moyers had his
blood tested for those environmental toxic chemicals and
I found the results fascinating and very scary.
He was tested for 156 chemicals and his blood showed he has
84 chemicals and among them, 31 different kinds of PCBs,
13 kinds of dioxins, numerous pesticides, DDT and etc. in
his body.
I have been wondering if anybody is going to research (or
has researched) for Dioxin levels in Endometriosis patients.
Well, the scientist person who did Mr Moyers' test was saying
this is all new and they are going to test children in the
near future. So, our turn might come in not-so-near future.
Personally, that poor monkey experiment was enough to make me
feel sure that my instinct may be right about these toxins
and Endometriosis, but it is very frustrating.....
In any cases,
Bravo! to Mr. Moyers ( and PBS ).
