Physical Description:
Grey hair in need of a trim, with a short bushy beard and long
mustache.  Tall and lean, aged but still unbent by time.  Beginning to feel his
age, though his hands (and mind) are as nimble as ever.
Typically dresses in a dark suit with faded vest beneath, though he is
quick to slip out of his jacket and roll up his sleeves when there is work to
be done.   His battered black bag is always close at hand.  When working

Does not carry a firearm, though he does keep a shortened scattergun
(most often unloaded) with him when travelling through the worse parts of the ‘Verse.

History:
Dr. Amos Hudson is an honorable man in a dishonorable ‘Verse.  He takes
his duties seriously, even gruffly, and does what he can to preserve life
and fulfill the oaths he swore when he first became a doctor.

Born on Ariel over a half centry past, Hudson spent his time on the
border planets until the Unification War, and the politically unwise decision
to treat Browncoat wounded, sent him fleeing to the Rim.  Any real feeling
he may have felt for either side in the conflict was tempered by the
atrocities he saw done on both sides.  In the end, the war left him feeling empty
and somewhat disgusted with humanity as a whole.

In the seven years since the war, Hudson has moved across the Rim and
the Border Planets offering his services when needed and trying to find
some place he could feel at home.  He's still unsure of what to do with
himself, though he's growing increasingly aware of there being more days behind
him than ahead.  Aside from a brother on Hera, he has few connections and
wonders if there will be anyone to notice his passing once he's gone.
