| Las Vegas Information Who Goes? Anyone who runs the qualifying time during the summer time trials at Central Park. The qualifying time this year is 20:32. General Information The Las Vegas Invitational is on September 11, 2004. Anyone who qualifies during the summer will be able to participate in this race in Las Vegas. On Friday September, 10, 2004, vans will depart the school to leave for Las Vegas. We will jog the course that day and eat a nice, good meal that night. We will get to bed early so we can get up in the morning for the race. In the morning we will go to Basic High School where the Varsity, JV, and F/S races will be contested (race lineups will be determined later). The race is over a 2.5 mile course. For the rest of Saturday, there will be a light run after the race and then we will be able to do anything until about 10 pm. We will eat dinner with the team somewhere also. On Sunday, we will depart for the school. |
