Influenced by Tom Scholz of "Boston" and Brian Adams, Bryan Collins has been playing guitar and singing lead for what seems like forever.  He has performed with many bands in the Nashville area including Max Johns and the Maximum Blues Band, the 4 Corners band and PDA, as well as playing trombone with the showband, JonesWorld (www.the-jones.com) and the Moonlighters "big band".
After serving in the USMC, Bryan moved to Murfreesboro, TN and worked as a band director in the City School System.....then one day at band camp.....Bryan formed the 4 Corners band.  During their 6 year reign, Bryan met guitarist Max Johns and backed him on guitar until just a couple of years ago.
Along with managing Perpetual Motion, Bryan is the proud owner of
Pony Boy Stables, a classic Mustang restoration business in Nashville.
Bryan has been described as one of the most modest players around, accepting compliments with a nod and a shrug.  Needless to say, if you love music and enjoy a show, Bryan does everything possible to make it happen.
Jennifer Stout came to Nashville from a small town in Central Indiana.  A proud fan of the Hoosiers and the Colts, she came here with hopes of pursuing music and to attend Belmont University.  She graduated from Belmont with a degree in Philosophy, but music remains her first love.
Her influences are diverse, ranging from Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder and Gladys Knight to Sheryl Crow and Allison Krauss.  Her all-time favoite band, however, is the Eagles.  Says Jennifer, "I gravitate toward their smooth, tight harmonies which likely stems from my upbringing in Southern gospel music."  Singing is what she loves the most, but Jennifer also has a passion for playing piano, practicing the fiddle and ballroom dancing.
She says, "I've spent too much time here in Nashville as a 'closet musician/singer' and I am so happy and relieved to finally be performing again!  I've very excited that I have connected with Perpetual Motion, and I now have the opportunity to share my vocal talent and make music with not just amazing musicians, but great people as well."
Jennifer's amazing vocal abilities, inspiring emulation, and raw emotion brings life to the Perpetual Motion stage.  We're glad she's here, and we're sure you will be too.
Be sure to say hello to the most attractive member of Perpetual Motion when you come to a show..........you'll be glad you did !

"Dangerous" Dan Eidem's musical career started in Fargo, ND when his Dad bought him his first set of drums at age 13 (yes kids, that was back in the 70's).  Dan's father was the leader of a swing band at the time and hired Dan as soon as he proved he could keep a beat.  Things changed after Dan bought a BTO album and decided rock and roll was the way to go.
Garage bands in high school and college led to employment with professional bands working on the road where Dan spent much of the 80's living out of a suitcase.  Boston, Massachusetts was in the mid to late 80's before deciding to move back to the Mid-West.  Minneapolis was his home base from 1988 - 1997 and Dan was the featured player in two well-known area R&B bands - Mick Sterling and the Stud Brothers and Big John Dickerson with DownRightTight.  Ten years and a wedding later, Dan and his new bride decided on Music City as their permanant destination.
Since 1998 Dan has been the NewsVoice of News Radio AM 1510 WLAC along with keeping up his musical chops.  In addition to rocking weekends with Perpetual Motion, Dan is also a member of
Christies-Ex - a tribute to Billy Joel.
Dan's vocal abilities, tight harmonies and solid backbeat have been a blessing for Perpetual Motion.  Come to a show....watch his hands......bet you can't see through the blur!
The newest member of Perpetual Motion, Leandro Freixo hails from Rio de Janeiro, Brasil.  Leandro started his professional career in 1989 and has worked with many of the top Brasilian artists, groups, theatre companies, swing bands and orchestras.  His abilities have taken him from Brazil to Mexico, Belgium and finally, to the US.
His unique compositions and piano style comes from diversified experience and experimentation with different cultures from his country of birth and from many years of intensive classical and jazz studies.
Leandro's touch at the piano can go from romantic to wild without the loss of clarity.  Progressions and phrases not often heard appear in a universe of passion and multiculturalism.  He brings with him the sharing of the universal feeling about life, love, beauty and music.
Very outgoing and loquacious, Leandro will easily capture your heart as what a musician truly should be.  An exceptional musician with a wonderful heart, Leandro has proven to be a wonderful addition to the Perpetual Motion stage.

Melinda Flynn is the 'official' photographer and new booking agent for Perpetual Motion.  She was born here in Nashville but just recently returned from Colorado where she toured as a singer in a Southern Rock band.  She grew up surrounded by musicians and has been on stage with such greats as Sammy Hagar at the Cabo Wabo Cantina in Cabo San Lucas as a back-up vocalist!  She plans on seeking out her own place in the music scene and a career in photography as well.  She's been working as a nurse for 7 years and loves it, but she says now is the time to pursue her dreams and feed her artistic nature.
