Although many people don't realize it, there is a group of small mammals related to rabbits who live in the Americas, including the United States of America. These animals are call Pikas, or Rock Rabbits, whose very existence is threatened by warming temperatures. These cute little creatures can only survive in colder temperatures, and many have been forced to travel upward in altitude. If you're interested in learning how to help prevent the loss of this species of animal, please visit the World Wildlife Fund. Thank you.
