Romanian word (noun) PERUZEA, plural PERUZELE(perousele) means TURQUOISE.
The origin of the Romanian word can be traced down in history to  its Persian roots: PIROOZI
the name given to Turquoise,
the name for Victory, and also the ancient name of  PERSEPOLIS.
In Persian  (turquoise) FIROUZEH or
FEEROUZEH is a given name for girls.
While FIROUZ(victorious) is a given name for boys.
The original Persian word is actually PIROOZ/PIRUZ after a character in  the legendary  masterpiece of  FERDOWSI
  SHAHNAMEH
(Epic of the KINGS)
