After that first warm but great week we flew to Vancouver and met the rest of our Baobab travelling groupe which was in total 7 persons big and had 6 females in it. (Poor Peter)
In Vancouver we went to Stanley Park and took our time in the Vancouver Aquarium with a baby baluga, Sea otters, dolphins and sooooo much more.
Vancouver is a great town, clean and nice with great views and not the crazyness we Dutch people are used to in the cities.
After that we went to Vancouver Island and the little village of Tofino. Vancouver Island is much bigger then you think when you see it on the map of Canada and has lots of beautiful nature. Tofino is close to the Rim National Park and that is where we spent a lot of time the next days.
But what about that sunset....it's almost unreal!!
These are pictures from Rim National Park where we made hikes at the Rain Forrest trail and the Bog trail. We also made a great hike on Meares Island.
Nature is great there, the silence gets into your heart and your breathing. Suddenly, looking at nature, you realise how small humans are.
At the Bog trail we had the feeling we landed on another planet. Trees so small but never the less about 200 or 300 years old. WOW!
